Calling all Mid and Senior High Youth to lend a helping hand during this work week

Monday 6/13 - 9 am, meet at church to paint another classroom. Bring a lunch or bring money to go to McDonalds.
Tuesday 6/14 - 8:30 am, meet at church to carpool to Hammock Beach boat access for the Coastal Federation Jones Island Restoration project. Return about 2 pm. Bag a lunch, need waiver signed. Wear water shoes.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the Youth Group Bike-A-Thon to support ENCORE pets a HUGE success!! Their goal was to raise $120. With the support of our wonderful congregation, the youth group raised $390!
Encore is a non profit organization for abandoned and homeless cats and dogs. It usually cost Encore about $120 per cat a year to vaccine, spray or neuter a cat to have it ready for adoption. The cats are housed at the Pet Smart in Morehead City where they wait for adoption. The dogs are out sourced to foster homes.
Mid High Retreat will be March 12-13th at Camp Kirkwood in Watha, NC. The cost of the retreat is $20.00. A great opportunity to make new friend and grow in faith. This is a Presbytery sponsored event.
What to bring: flashligh, towels, Bible, toiletries, sleeping bag or linens, warm clothes, pillow
