2009 OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Is your heart broken by the desperate plight of millions of children around the world? Whether they are refugees of civil war, survivors of a natural disaster, or victims of extreme poverty, these little ones need to know that they are precious to God.
That’s the motivation behind Operation Christmas Child, the unique project of Samaritan’s Purse that enables caring people to share God’s love with hurting girls and boys in the far corners of the globe.
The Youth of Cape Carteret Presbyterian Church, along with other churches throughout the nation, will be filling shoe boxes with presents for a child in need of joy and hope.
We need your help by donating empty shoe boxes and gifts to go in the boxes.
We will be assembling the shoebox gifts Saturday, November 7th from 9 am -12 pm.

Shoebox Mission Update
The Cape Carteret Presbyterian Youth Group would like to thank everyone who donated items and/or postage to pack in the shoeboxes. And another thank you to those that helped wrap, and pack the boxes!
Thank you to Jan Holt who heads up this mission each and every year. Thank you to Cam Sutton for all her help with this project. To each member of the youth group that helped out through the weeks. And to Hunter and Linda Brown who picked up and delivered the boxes to Morehead City.
I believe we have made a new record for our church! We fixed and mailed 93 shoeboxes!
Thank you all so much for helping to contribute to such a wonderful mission. Our shoebox mission 2009 was a huge success!!
