How fortunate we are to be able to make a small child happy on Christmas Morning! The women of the church invite you to participate in the Angel Tree Christmas project this year. The tree is placed in the Atrium. You are invited to select an Angel from the tree, write your name and the ID number on the document provided and purchase the gift(s) listed on the Angel. We need your name to have a record of who is purchasing gifts. When you have the gift(s) ready to return to the church, please do not wrap the gifts because the Hem of His Garment has to inspect each gift to determine if it is age appropriate and new. Just kindly place the gift in a Christmas bag or box and place the angel on the bag or box so it can be identified. If you put your gift in a box, the lid may be decorated – just make sure it can be opened easily. If you have any questions, someone will try to be near the tree with answers until we get used to the new idea. There will be 40 angels, age two to seven, with gifts listed that they or their parents have requested. Please only purchase what is listed on the Angel. You may select more than one angel if you desire. These gifts are to be returned to our church by December 10. This is a wonderful opportunity to help little ones have a happy Christmas, and it will make you feel good too.
